Dakota Aesquivel
Vice President of Development
Dakota earned his MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA graduate school, selling his first script in his last year of the program.
Providing coverage for numerous production companies such as Arnold Kopelson and East-West Film Partners,
he later worked as Director of Development for Stan Lee’s production company, New Millennium.
His theater background includes writing and directing the critically acclaimed play “Longshots.”
Also a music producer with his own studio, he has toured and globally released three albums with two rock bands.
The film feature JANKED, his directorial debut which he also wrote, made it’s debut at the Festival de Cannes on May of 2012.
Daniel Gebretensai
Vice President of Development
Daniel has a nose for structure and is well known for creative solutions to unusual story problems.
With a degree in Computer Information Systems from California State University, Daniel brings his expertise in technology to add realism to many stories.
Chelsea Hackett
Executive Director of Development
Chelsea received her MFA in screenwriting from the USC School of Cinema-Television, while working for Gallagher Literary and Innovative Artists in their literary departments.
She later worked for Vivendi Entertainment as an Acquisitions Executive.
Chelsea holds a B.A. in International Relations and French, also from USC, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude/Phi Beta Kappa,
and spent a year in Paris studying at L’Institut des Etudes Politiques.
In her spare time, she is a passionate college football fan, her team being (of course) USC.
Myke Friscia
Director of Development
Myke earned a B.A. in TV/FILM from CSUN.
After five years of film production experience, he earned a Certificate in Feature Film writing from the UCLA writers program in 2008.
Myke's an optioned screenwriter and along working at Gallagher Literary, he reads for some of the top contests in the industry,
and writes for Kevin Spacey's entertainment industry news website, SHOWWATCHER.COM.
Angela Crawford
Senior Manager of Development
Angie is an experienced writer and actor with a flair for comedy.
She has a degree in Communication Arts: Radio-Television-Film from the University of Wisconsin and previously was in charge of development for The Scriptwriters Network.
One of our most creative and brightest minds and is known for being straightforward even if it stings.
Michael Beazel
Senior Manager of Development
An expert in filmmaking, history and aviation, Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (American Studies - Film and Television) from the University of South Florida, Tampa.
Chris Kowalczyk
Story Editor
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Chris wrote, produced and directed a feature film currently being distributed by Singa Home Entertainment on Netflix.
Chris is developing seven screenplays, and a book.
Jess Loveland
Executive Creative Executive
Jess is a professional script reader and editor and has read for numerous independent production companies, screen agencies and competitions,
working with writers in Europe and North America with equal delight.
Jess holds an MFA in script development from the National Film and Telelvision School in London, UK, and an MA in Film and Television Production from the University of Bristol, UK.
Jess enjoys reading all genres but her key interest is in developing thriller narratives. Claims to drink any man under the table.
Monty Michelson
Senior Creative Executive, Publicist
Monty has an MFA from the University of California Riverside in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts, and is a produced screenwriter and published novelist.
Monty's background is in Public Relations and runs our in-house PR Department.
Kurt St. Angelo
Senior Creative Executive, Legal Counsel
Another lawyer hyphen creative executive on our team, Kurt knows politics and roofing as well as any man alive and will talk about both when you least desire it.
Can invent things like McGyver and fix your script with a paper clip and gum wrapper (at least it will hold together).
Earned a Juris Doctorate from the Indiana University School of Law who he is in the process of suing.
Brandon Kreines
Senior Creative Executive, Legal Counsel
A graduate of the Washington University School of Law, Brandon is an experienced editor and script reader.
A prolific reader since the tender age of four, Brandon loves science fiction and fantasy and is captivated by interesting premises.
Brandon has worked with many managers and has a keen eye for what is current.
Annalisa Hounsome
Senior Creative Executive
Annlisa has a BA in English and an MA in Screenwriting from the National Film and Television School in the UK, and has written several feature film scripts.
She most recently worked in development at Morgan Freeman's company, Revelations Entertainment.
Ethan Barrett
Senior Creative Executive
Ethan graduated from Baylor University with a BA in Film and Digital Media and soon after began directing short films of his own.
Ethan has a passion for covering new material and loves reading a great script.
Brian Craft
Creative Executive
Before graduating the UCLA screenwriting program, Brian invented products for a living, designing about everything under the sun.
Leveraging his creative experience into his lifelong passion for film, he’s written and directed award-winning shorts, and written many feature scripts.
He is a self-described ‘idea man’, if you ask him for creative ideas; you better sharpen your pencil.
Adam Rager

Adam Rager graduated from Lewis & Clark College where he majored in English with a focus in creative writing.
Adam is a fan of every genre under the sun and loves finding new material that brings fresh ideas and an interesting perspective to the table.
Valerie Heidt
Creative Executive
Valerie graduated from UO with a BA in Journalism and studied screenwriting at UCLA. She has worked in public relations and event planning.
Valerie is a freelance writer and constant world traveler -- soaking up cultural curiosities that offer keen insight into character and script development.
Casey Flynn
Creative Executive
Casey is a lawyer and prolific screenwriter who studied the craft at UCLA after graduating with honors from St. Louis University School of Law.
Prior to that he majored in Russian and International Politics & Law at Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service.
