Jim Fernald
Executive Vice President of Finance & Production

One of the top international finance and co-production figures in the world with strong ties to international studios and finance entities, Jim spends most of the year on the road at international markets securing finance and production deals.




Terri Zinner
Senior Vice President & Head of Development

Peerless and exhaustive in her dedication to working with writers and perfecting their craft and script, Terri has probably read more scripts than anyone in the industry. Very hands-on in guiding writers and directing our development team to bring out the best in your writing.




Casey Flynn
Vice President of Development & Head of Legal Affairs

Casey leads our in-house legal department and is a Chief Partner of a national law firm and respected Litigator who has been appointed Chief Counsel in many important cases. He is also a prolific screenwriter who studied the craft at UCLA after graduating with honors from St. Louis University School of Law. Prior to that he majored in Russian and International Politics & Law at Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service.




Chelsea Hackett
Vice President of Development

Chelsea recently worked for Vivendi Entertainment as an Acquisitions Executive. She received her MFA in screenwriting from the USC School of Cinema-Television, while working for Gallagher Literary and Innovative Artists in their literary departments. Chelsea holds a B.A. in International Relations and French, also from USC, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude/Phi Beta Kappa, and spent a year in Paris studying at L’Institut des Etudes Politiques.




Dakota Aesquivel
Vice President of Development

A development associate for numerous production companies such as Arnold Kopelson and East-West Film Partners, he later worked as Director of Development for Stan Lee’s production company, New Millennium. Dakota earned his MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA graduate school, selling his first script in his last year of the program. His theater background includes writing and directing the critically acclaimed play “Longshots.” The film feature JANKED, his directorial debut which he also wrote, recently made it’s debut at the Festival de Cannes.




Daniel Gebretensai
Vice President of Development

Daniel has a passion for structure and is known for creative solutions to story problems. With a degree in Computer Information Systems from California State University, Daniel brings his expertise in technology to add realism to many stories.




Myke Friscia
Senior Director of Development

After five years of film production experience, Myke earned a Certificate in Feature Film writing from the UCLA writers program. Myke's a professional screenwriter and along with working at Gallagher Literary, he works for some of the top contests in the industry, and works for Kevin Spacey's entertainment industry news website, SHOWWATCHER.COM, and has earned a B.A. in TV/FILM from CSUN.




Michael Beazel
Executive Manager of Development

An expert in filmmaking, history and aviation, Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (American Studies - Film and Television) from the University of South Florida, Tampa.




Vivian Lermond
Executive Story Editor

VIvian holds a Master of Arts degree in English. She is the author of 13 produced stage plays and two award winning screenplays. She is also an adjunct professor and teaches a playwriting class at a local college.




Annalisa Hounsome
Senior Story Editor

Annalisa most recently was a development associate for Morgan Freeman's company, Revelations Entertainment. She has a BA in English and an MA in Screenwriting from the National Film and Television School in the UK, and has written several screenplays.




Chris Kowalczyk
Story Editor

After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Chris wrote, produced and directed a feature film currently being distributed by Singa Home Entertainment on Netflix. Chris is developing seven screenplays, and a book.




Jack Garman
Executive Creative Executive

A former development executive at Sentinel Pictures, Digital Media Factory, Rick Botelho Productions, and Alan Sacks Productions. Jack holds degrees from film and screenwriting schools including Knox College, University of Maryland and Los Angeles Valley College and has completed eight screenplays. In his spare time he teaches seminars in screenwriting.




Garry Eilers
Executive Creative Executive

A former development associate at a high profile New York production company, Garry holds a BA in Film and Media from the University of Stirling, and has studied screenwriting at the New York Film Academy. In his spare time he writes for film and television.




Jess Loveland
Senior Creative Executive

A professional script editor and reader for numerous independent production companies, agencies and competitions, Jess holds an MFA in development from the National Film and Telelvision School in London, and an MA in Film and Television Production from the University of Bristol, UK. Jess enjoys reading all genres but her key interest is in developing thriller narratives. Claims to drink any man under the table.




Monty Michelson
Senior Creative Executive, Head of Publicity

Monty has an MFA from the University of California Riverside in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts, and is a produced screenwriter and published novelist.




Valerie Heidt
Senior Creative Executive

A graduate of UO with a BA in Journalism, Valerie has studied screenwriting at UCLA, and is a freelance writer and constant world traveler -- soaking up cultural curiosities that offer keen insight into character and script development.




Adam Rager
Creative Executive

Adam graduated from Lewis & Clark College where he majored in English with a focus in creative writing.




Brianna Gardner
Creative Executive

An Emmy Award winning director/producer, Brianna previously worked at Disney/ABC Television Group. In her spare time she directs music videos and short films, and recently launched Watermark Pictures to release a series of short films centered on women’s issues. She hold degrees in International Finance and Media Arts from Michigan State University.




John Papapavlos
Creative Executive

John has worked in the entertainment industry for almost two decades and has a vast array of experience with companies such as Lionsgate, Showtime, Hallmark, and Sundance. Recently an executive at 20th Century Fox, John has worked in publicity, development, & production on countless blockbuster films. In his spare time, John has written two pilots and is working on a third and a couple features.




Hannah McBain
Creative Executive

Hannah has a BA in Film Studies from Kingston University, London with a focus on screenwriting for film and television. She has written two short films and during her time at university has gone on to make two further short films as well as a television series.




Andrew Ryan Harvey
Creative Executive

Andrew holds an MFA from Michigan State University and BAs in History and Theatre from St. Ambrose University. He's passionate about Irish Studies and writing for film and TV.




Marlisha Walton
Creative Executive

Marlisa recently worked in development for Overbrook Entertainment reporting the President of Film. She holds an M.F.A. in Producing-Motion Picture & Television from the Academy of Art University, and a B.A. in Communication from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She loves to read and is passionate about Development.
