|
Rob Gallagher
President, Literary Manager, Producer, Packager, Financier & Distributor
A veteran decorated military intelligence agent turned film enthusiast, Rob
rose quickly through the ranks working as a studio acquisitions & development VP, before becoming a top literary
& packaging agent, then a manager & producer, and finally running the world's biggest
independent film finance & distribution company which finances films for every major
studio earning tens of billions and countless guild awards.
Known among top studio execs for exceptional taste, Rob has
unique insider expertise on both sides of the fence as a buyer and seller and will use every resource
available to get your script in the best possible shape before taking it to market
and then seeing it through to production and distribution.
Jim Fernald Producer, Executive Vice President of Finance & Production
One of the top finance and production minds in the world with strong ties to international studios and finance entities, Jim spends most of the year on the road at the international markets securing finance and production deals.
Terri Zinner Producer, Senior Vice President of Development
Peerless and exhaustive in her dedication to working with writers and perfecting their craft, Terri has probably read more scripts than anyone in the industry. Very hands on in guiding writers towards a flawless product and directing her development team to bring out the best in your writing.
Thea DeSando Vice President of Development
Thea started out with Erwin Stoff at 3 Arts, where she read scripts for Mike Myers, Keanu Reeves, Matthew Broderick and Chris Rock.
Then she was hired by Matt Gross, Sr. VP Production at Kopleson on the Fox lot where she was responsible for all tracking, extensive notes & coverage. There she brought in the project, GATOR FARM, that was bought by Arnold Kopleson.
Later Thea was hired by Trevor Albert to be Creative Executive for Harold Ramis' company Ocean Pictures also at Fox, where she oversaw all submissions to Harold & Trevor, and brought in the project WHERE YOU ARE for Harold to produce.
Next she moved to New York City and became the Story Editor for Revolution Studios East and Shoelace Productions, Julia Roberts' production company, working under Elaine Goldsmith Thomas and Deb Schindler and was responsible for all projects submitted to Julia, and worked on MAID IN MANHATTAN and MONA LISA'S SMILE, doing notes and research for both projects.
Since leaving Revolution East, Thea has been a full time writer, working on a novel for which she has a book deal, and various magazine articles and screenplays.
Dakota Aesquivel Vice President of Development
Dakota earned his MFA of Screenwriting from UCLA graduate school, selling his first script in his last year of the program. Providing coverage for numerous production companies such as East-West Film Partners and Arnold Kopelson, he later worked as a Director of Development for Stan Lee’s production company, New Millennium, for two years. His theater background includes writing and directing the critically well-received play “Longshots”. Also a music producer with his own studio, he has toured and globally released three albums with the rock bands Stattica and Okay I Lied. The film feature JANKED, his directorial debut which he also wrote, made it’s debut at the Festival de Cannes on May of 2012.
Daniel Gebretensai Vice President of Development
Said to eat scripts for breakfast (with plenty of syrup of course). Has a nose for structure and known for creative solutions to the usual story problems. Degree in Computer Information Systems from California State University, Los Angeles, and brings his expertise in technology to add realism to many stories.
Myke Friscia Director of Development
Holds a world record for the most films ever watched and the thick reading glasses to prove it. Myke can quote dialogue like an encyclopedia
and unfortunately often does during staff meetings. He is a graduate of the UCLA writers program and has years of experience in development for production companies and screenplay competitions. If you think you know more about development than he does, he'll be the first to tell you you're wrong.
Chelsea Hackett Executive Manager of Development
Chelsea Hackett received her MFA in screenwriting from the USC School of Cinema-Television, while working for Gallagher Literary and Innovative Artists in their literary departments. She then worked for Vivendi Entertainment as an Acquisitions Executive. She holds a B.A. in International Relations and French, also from USC, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude/Phi Beta Kappa, and spent a year in Paris studying at L’Institut des Etudes Politiques. In her spare time, she is a passionate college football fan, her team being (of course) USC.
Michael Beazel Senior Manager of Development
Specializing in detail checking and research, Michael leaves no stone unturned to perfect your
script much to the annoyance of lazy writers. An expert in filmmaking, history and aviation, he is still struggling to find a way to tie these disciplines together. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (American Studies - Film and Television) from the University of South Florida, Tampa, and cooks a mean gumbo.
Angela Crawford Senior Manager of Development
Angie is an experienced writer and actor with a flair for comedy. She has a degree in Communication Arts: Radio-Television-Film from the University of Wisconsin and previously was in charge of development for The Scriptwriters Network. One of the most creative and brightest minds we have but is known for being straightforward even if it stings.
Chris Kowalczyk Story Editor
After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, Chris wrote, produced and directed the feature length film titled Wobble: The Weight of the Truth, currently being distributed through Singa Home Entertainment on Netflix. As of now, Chris is developing seven new screenplays, and a book titled Back at Bird, which chronicles his near-death experiences as a dock builder. Claims to speak with spirits and often speaks in tongues.
Kurt St. Angelo Executive Creative Executive
Yet another lawyer hyphen creative executive on our team, Kurt knows politics and roofing as well
as any man alive and will talk about both when you least desire it. Can invent things like McGyver and fix your script with a paper clip and gum wrapper (at least it will hold together). Earned a Juris Doctorate from the Indiana University School of Law who he is in the process of suing.
Jess Loveland Senior Creative Executive
Jess Loveland is an experienced script reader and editor - she has read for numerous independent production companies, screen agencies and competitions, and has worked with writers in Europe and North America with equal delight. Jess holds an MFA in script development from the National Film and Telelvision School in London, UK, and an MA in Film and Television Production from the University of Bristol, UK. Jess enjoys reading all genres but her key specialism lies in developing thriller narratives. Will drink any man under the table.
Monty Michelson Senior Creative Executive
Monty has an MFA from the University of California Riverside in Creative Writing and Writing for the Performing Arts, and he is also a produced screenwriter and published novelist -- go figure. Monty's background is in Public Relations and runs our inhouse PR Department.
Edmund Moy Senior Creative Executive
As an experienced actor and screenwriter, Ed has a special talent for characters and drama with a flair for inappropriate impersonations during client meetings. He is also an award-winning freelance writer and journalist, which he'll remind you of often.
Ethan Barrett Creative Executive

Brandon Kreines Creative Executive
A graduate of the Washington University School of Law, Brandon is an experienced editor and script reader. Brandon has worked with many managers and has a keen eye for what is current.
Mason Miller Creative Executive
Mason Miller is a graduate of Ithaca College where he majored in
scriptwriting. A prolific writer himself, Mason has experience reading for
production companies, agencies and screenplay competitions in the industry.
He loves new, unique ideas, any premise that grabs you in the first few
minutes and never lets you go.
Brian Craft Creative Executive
Before graduating the UCLA screenwriting program, Brian invented products for a living, designing about everything under the sun.
Leveraging his creative experience into his lifelong passion for film, he’s written and directed award-winning shorts, and written many feature scripts including a Nicholl Fellowship semi-finalist.
He is a self-described ‘idea man’, if you ask him for creative ideas; you better sharpen your pencil.
Adam Rager Creative Executive
Adam Rager graduated from Lewis & Clark College where he majored in English with a focus in creative writing.
Adam is a fan of every genre under the sun and loves finding new material that brings fresh ideas and an interesting perspective to the table.
